When reporting a problem
Include your app version, iPhone model, iOS version, what you expected and what happened. A screenshot is optional. Remove private details. Do not send your full record export unless you choose to after discussing the issue.
Records and photos
Records stay on your device. Export JSON from Settings; exports do not include photos and cannot currently be imported in the app. Keep original photos separately. There is no account or cloud recovery. Deleting the app may permanently remove records that have not been backed up.
Reminders
Enable reminders in Huaqi and allow notifications in iOS Settings. Reminders are observation prompts, not automatic watering instructions. Without notification permission, use the in-app tasks.
Plants and placement
Record a baseline, then check around days 3 and 7. Photos are optional and missed observations are not filled in automatically. One week does not establish long-term suitability. For a worsening plant, use the app’s cautious first-aid checks and seek appropriate local advice.
Privacy questions
Email the same address for privacy questions or to request deletion of support correspondence. The developer cannot remotely access your local plant records. See the privacy policy.
